I like the AeroGarden, but the seed kits cost $20 each. Does anybody know how to make them cheaper?

Having seen the commercials and seeing the price, there is no way I would buy one. If I have to cut my “vegetables and herbs” with cuticle scissors, they are too small to mess with.
I have an aerogarden and love it. I think the newer version has a kit you can buy that actually lets you plant your own seeds, whatever they may be. Get one and you’ll love it! The kits are worth the money, regardless.
