Second Month
The Areogarden is now into it’s second month of growth and the Dill has not grown. The parsley is also looking pathetic next to all the other herbs. I recieved an email from Aerogarden support telling me they would replace the two herbs that haven’t grown but they have not arrived yet so I am having to do a lot of pruning of the Basil plants as they continue to reach towards the light. Normally this is when you would raise the lights but as I’m waiting to plant the new herbs as soon as they arrive I have to keep the lights in the low starting possition to give them a good start.
I ran into another problem today. I decided to try and raise the lights and carefully pulled the full plant container out of the stand so I could raise the lights but then I changed my mind and trimmed the two Basil plants instead. When I came to put the plants container back in the stand I noticed the red water level light was flashing. After checking the water level ( which wasn’t that low really ) I added a bit more but the red light continued to flash.
I’ve tried all sorts of things to rectify this problem but nothing works so I’ve sent another email to support asking for their advice.
If any of you have had similar problems and know how to fix this please let me know.
